A cryptic message in the night

I got this text message from The Boif in the middle of the night: "A bride without a head. A wolf without a foot!" I was asleep when it came in, so I woke up when I heard it and for the rest of the night, I tried to decipher the message in my sleep.

I tossed and turned all night -- not because of the message, I toss and turn every night, but every time I would toss, I would think of the message and every time I would turn, I tried to solve the cryptic message.

The next morning, I was going to look at it again on my cell, but realized the whole thing was probably a dream. I said to myself, "Snap out of it!"

Later in the day I was checking email on my computer and I opened an email from The Boif and it was a picture of his tv with the opening credits of "Moonstruck," the movie (that's the actual picture below). At first I thought it was "Moonlighting," the old tv show, then I realized he was watching "Moonstruck," my favorite movie. Then the lines came to me, I realized they were from the movie:

Ronny Cammareri: "A bride without a head."
Loretta Castorini: "A wolf without a foot."

(They are discussing Ronny's brother Johnny and his hand accident).

So the text was real. I didn't dream it and all night that I tossed and turned to decipher it was for naught. That is my favorite movie, I am surprised I didn't remember the line right away. The whole movie is full of such great lines, one better than the next.
